Shared Folders
A practical guide to GramLab Shared Folders: how Telegram channel admins join, how matching works, what rules apply, and what to do before publishing.
Shared Folders are GramLab’s collaborative format for Telegram channels.
They are built around one simple idea: several relevant Telegram channels are grouped into one shareable Telegram folder, and participating admins publish the folder link on the same campaign date.
This helps subscribers discover several related channels in one place, while admins participate in a coordinated editorial collaboration.
Who can participate
Minimum requirements:
• at least 300 subscribers
• at least 50 average views per post
• completed bot verification
• channel category added during onboarding
• no active blacklist status
To join Shared Folders, your channel must complete onboarding through the Gramlab bot:
Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee immediate participation. GramLab matches channels by relevance, category, language, audience fit, channel size, and current available campaigns.

How Shared Folders work
A Shared Folder is a Telegram folder that includes several channels with a similar topic, audience, or content direction.
Each participating admin receives:
• the campaign topic
• the folder link
• the publishing date
• the publishing rules
• the final post draft
All participating channels publish a post inviting their subscribers to open the folder and follow the included channels.
The goal is not to create random promo exchanges. Each folder should be relevant for the participating channels and useful for the people who see it.
How matching works
GramLab matches channels based on several signals:
• channel category
• channel language
• number of subscribers
• average post views
• audience relevance
• channel description
• previous participation history
• current campaign topic
Shared Folders work best when the channels are close enough in topic and audience quality. For example, a folder for business and startup channels should not mix unrelated entertainment, gaming, or lifestyle channels unless there is a clear audience overlap.
How the process works
- You complete onboarding in the GramLab bot.
- Your channel is added to the matching pool.
- When a relevant Shared Folder is prepared, you receive an invitation.
- The invitation includes the campaign topic, date, rules, and folder details.
- You can accept or decline the invitation.
- If you accept before all main slots are filled, your channel is added to the folder.
- If you accept after the main slots are filled, your channel is moved to the waitlist.
- Before launch, GramLab sends you the final folder link and post draft.
- You publish the post on the campaign date.
- The post must stay live for at least 72 hours.
Main slots and waitlist
Each Shared Folder has a limited number of final participant slots.
GramLab usually invites more channels than the final number of places available, because not every admin replies in time.
Main slots are assigned on a first-come-first-served basis.
If all main slots are already taken when you accept, you will be moved to the waitlist. If another participant drops before the final campaign starts, a waitlisted channel may be added to the folder.
Waitlisted channels are also prioritised for future relevant matching rounds.
Posting rules
If you accept participation and receive the final post draft, you are expected to publish it.
Rules:
• publish on the assigned campaign date and time
• keep the post live for at least 72 hours
• keep the folder link correct
• do not replace the folder link with another link
• do not remove required campaign information from the post
• do not publish a different version that changes the meaning of the campaign
You may lightly customise the wording, but the folder link, campaign topic, and required information must remain correct.
The bot does not need posting rights. It sends you the post draft, and you publish or schedule it yourself.
Why timing matters
Shared Folders work best when participating channels post close to the same time.
GramLab gives a 24-hour publishing window, but same-hour posting usually gives better results because all participating channels receive exposure during the same activity period.
For best results, schedule the post in advance.
What counts as a violation
The bot checks whether the required post was published and whether it stayed live.
Violations include:
• not publishing the post
• publishing after the 24-hour window
• deleting the post before 72 hours
• changing or removing the required folder link
• replacing the approved folder with a different link
• publishing a post that changes the meaning of the campaign
Changing the wording is allowed, as long as the folder link and required campaign information stay correct.
Violation policy
GramLab uses strict rules because Shared Folders only work when every participant follows the same agreement.
One violation is tolerated.
A second violation leads to blacklist.
Blacklisted channels can no longer participate in:
• Shared Folders
• Channel Collections
• future GramLab editorial formats
• the future GramLab influencer platform
Declining invitations
You can decline a campaign invitation before accepting it.
Declining is allowed, but repeated declines may affect future matching priority.
If you are not ready to participate on the proposed date, it is better to decline early than accept and fail to publish later.
What makes a good participant
Good participants usually have:
• a clear channel topic
• a relevant and active audience
• stable average views
• accurate category and language settings
• a clear channel description
• reliable publishing behaviour
• willingness to follow the same timing and posting rules as other participants
The better your channel data is, the easier it is for GramLab to match you with relevant folders.
Short version
Shared Folders are simple:
• GramLab matches relevant Telegram channels
• you receive an invitation through the bot
• you accept or decline
• if accepted, your channel is added to the folder
• before launch, you receive the final folder link and post draft
• you publish the post on the campaign date
• the post stays live for at least 72 hours
• everyone follows the same rules so every channel gets fair participation conditions
